Having navigated out of Glasgow via the scenic route we have just stopped for a big breakfast at the Little Chef in Dunbarton. Anticipation levels rising as we now head up the A82 to Fort William at the base of Ben Nevis.

After an eventful trip up yesterday involving a puncture on the motorway (special thanks to Mr & Mrs Horton fo their timely remote support) and some interesting communication on the walkie talkies (!!), we arrived safely in Glasgow. Through his vast network of contacts Tony had managed to book us a table at a local Italian restaurant where we all enjoyed a fine meal and discovered that the driver team are running a book on how far each of the walkers is going to get!
